Fullcount's latest WWII Brown Cotton Selvedge Jeans are a tribute to the toned-back yet rugged style of denim that emerged during the WWII. One of the key appeals of wartime models is the minimalist detailing, which was a result of rationing during this period. Another unique charm comes from the rough stitching performed by less-experienced seamstresses who were drafted from other industries due to a labor shortage. Fullcount exaggeratedly emphasizes this feature, by leaving stitching runoffs across all construction points of the jeans.
Taking Fullcount's iconic 0105 model, there are a few minor modifications to increase the rise for a more period-correct fit. The back pockets feature notable distortions, further enhancing the vintage feel, while the pocket lining is made from a soft, mottled flannel. Other standout details include embossed start fly buttons, plain rivets with no engravings, and raw, unfinished edges on the fly guard.
The fabric is made from rare Zimbabwe brown cotton, a material known for its unique texture and distinctive aging process, offering a different fading experience compared to Fullcount's regular lineup denim.
